March 18, 2026 at 4:15 pmI’m a regular at Viet Sea and go about 2–3 times a week, so this review is long overdue. The food is consistently amazing and never disappoints.
The chicken pho is so good ! comforting, flavourful, and always hits the spot. Their prawn rolls are fresh and crispy, and I love that their juices are freshly pressed and not diluted with water. You can really taste the difference, and it makes it perfect.
The meatballs are super good too. Full of flavour and very satisfying. I’ve also tried their pasta and steak and it was so, so, so good. Honestly, no words can explain how good it was.
Service is fast, staff are friendly, and the quality is always consistent. Definitely one of my go-to places and I’ll keep coming back. Highly recommend 💛

March 18, 2026 at 4:15 pmRandomly googled this place as I was passing through Joo Chiat and didn’t want to go local! It was a pleasant find at about 6pm in the evening – quiet but there were already a few diners! Wait staff were friendly and didn’t rush us to give our orders so we ordered fresh spring rolls to start. They were really fresh and delicious! I whacked all four in under a minute! They felt light but also well packed! I also trie their Vietnamese iced black coffee – really packs a punch because it’s really ‘gao’ but I wasn’t expecting how sweet it was. However, it evens out as the ice melts (you can see there’s a surplus of ice!) so I thought I’d get helps drag out the drink to enjoy before, during and after your meal too. Lastly I ordered the grilled platter for two with pork chops and chicken chops. The chicken was really well seasoned but the pork was a little tough for me but tasty (probably personal preference). The platter came with a huge dollop of garlic cloves but the taste was perfect not overwhelming and I finished all the garlic also as well as cherry tomatoes for garnish. The sides were on the small side but well portioned as I was quite filling at the end. Love that the platter comes with like four sauces for all the different sides and meats. Overall it was a rather enjoyable meat and a good break from Singaporean cuisine – definitely recommended for locals and travellers alike!

March 18, 2026 at 4:15 pmWhat stood out to me was how fresh and crunchy the greens were. The baguettes had a crackly crust with a soft, airy centre (exactly how I like them), and the spring rolls were a refreshing addition. We ended up here after other spots were full, and it turned out to be a quiet, less chaotic find. Definitely not disappointed — though the prices were on the higher end.

March 18, 2026 at 4:15 pmAmbience was great, nice place to chill, but the food was even better and exceeded my expectations! Was a pity the Australian beef was sold out but I still got to try the sliced beef pho. Tofu dry noodles was very interesting as well, but 1 thing to note the tofu was definitely fresh. 10/10 will return again!
