I’ve had a great experience training at The Strength Yard so far. The gym has a really focused and supportive environment no ego, just people who genuinely want to get stronger and improve.
My coach Yew Hong has been fantastic. He takes the time to understand my goals, corrects my form carefully, and structures the training in a way that pushes me while still being sustainable. Every session feels purposeful and I can clearly see the progress in strength and technique.
JODI IS THE BEST PT EVER!!! She is kind, gentle, and a great motivator to help you in your strength journey. She has pushed me beyond what I thought possible and has helped me realise my fitness goals. She gave me the confidence to get back into gyming and has me no longer intimidated by weight training. If you are new to the gym, Jodi will be your best friend!
To health and back plus more! At first glance, this gym is may seem gritty and perhaps a bit intimidating for someone who typically lifts a petite 4kg dumbbell. However, have faith and stick with it and it will lead to a whole new world of lifestyle changes and health benefits. Special shout out to Jodi for being my constant support in this journey. She instill rigor and discipline in maintaining good lifting form and help me gain confidence in lifting heavier weights!
I’ve visited TSY a few times, usually to pick up stuff from SBD but I’ve always found it to have a ‘homey’ and wholesome vibe. Signed up my son for PT during the school holidays with Allen and he enjoyed his sessions. Allen was professional, supportive and understood how to work with a rather wilful teenager. Thank you!

Indebted to Jon for a meticulously well crafted training structure; his unwavering patience and determination in ensuring I get the foundation right.
Grateful to TSY Team for the non judgmental, non intimidating vibe, and the much needed breadth to learn at my own pace.
