hidden speakeasy tucked inside Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel.
I literally walked around twice trying to find it… ended up asking the reception
There’s just a small logo on the door, but once you step inside-total vibe.
Chill music (not too loud), cozy atmosphere, and super friendly staff. Started us off with a welcome drink that tasted like an espresso martini.
Also loved the scribbled quotes on the walls – funny and very on-brand.
Habanera ($28)
Tequila-based cocktail with a strong alcohol kick, balanced by sourness and a slight sweetness. Exactly my kind of drink.
Zen Dust ($26)
My friend ordered this Christmas special – creamy matcha vibes with a whiskey base.
We got one free shot later in the night – Saturday night perks, I guess?
Definitely a fun spot if you’re into hidden bars with strong drinks and good vibes 😎

March 17, 2026 at 6:25 pmTucked discreetly within Marriott Tang Plaza, The Other Room is a hidden sanctuary of moody elegance and irresistible charm. The atmosphere is rich with good vibes, dim lighting, and a refined energy that instantly draws you in… intimate without trying too hard, confident without being loud.
The experience is elevated by thoughtful details, from the curated ambiance to the perfectly executed bites. The chorizo is a standout… bold, savoury, and indulgent, adding just the right amount of warmth to the evening.
This is the kind of place where time slows down, conversations deepen, and every moment feels intentionally crafted. Stylish, discreet, and effortlessly cool!!
The Other Room is a hidden gem worth discovering.

March 17, 2026 at 6:25 pmA sign-less door and a discreet switch are all it takes to enter this speakeasy, and once you’re in, it’s a whole vibe. Low lighting, scribbled walls, and even your name on the table set the tone immediately.
The drinks are creative and fun, definitely not your usual cocktails but still well-balanced and genuinely tasty. The table snacks were surprisingly good too and paired well with the drinks.
I’ve already been back since, and I’ll definitely be returning for more.

March 17, 2026 at 6:25 pmThe Other Room – Singapore’s Hidden Speakeasy Gem
A secret escape tucked behind unmarked curtains in the Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel – finding it already feels like an adventure.
Step inside and you’re transported to a moody, intimate world of dim lighting, plush leather seats, rich wood accents, and that perfect Prohibition-era vibe. Soft jazz and soul tunes in the background, creative cocktails that tell a story (try the famous Reversed Gin & Tonic!), and bartenders who are true masters of their craft.
The in-house cask-finished spirits are unique and exclusive – every drink feels special, bold, and beautifully presented. Small, cosy, and effortlessly sophisticated, it’s the ideal spot for a quiet date night or drinks with friends.
One of Singapore’s most stylish and atmospheric cocktail bars – pure magic after dark.

It’s tucked away inside the Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel, literally behind an unmarked door, just finding the entrance already feels like part of the fun. Speaking of drinks, the cocktails here are really good. It’s the kind of place where you try something new and end up thinking, “Okay wow, this is actually amazing” especially their K-spot! That one is my favorite ❤️ The staff are really welcoming and knowledgeable — they’re happy to guide you through their extensive drinks list! Genuine hospitality is evident. The Other Room is really a must when you go 🇸🇬 ☺️
