March 18, 2026 at 4:21 pmWent for dinner at sweet garden but overall we felt that the food standard fell short of expectations (considering the higher price tag at hdb).
Mushroom soup is lacking flavour and we thought Campbell soup could actually taste better. And the Hawaiian pizza (which is one of their best sellers) is quite disappointing when it’s charged at $20. I surely won’t order these again.
Aglio olio was probably average. The slightly better dish for our night would be their duck confit (relative to the rest) but wouldn’t say is very good. Their pricing is on the higher end vs other hdb cafe I went to so probably our expectations are too high.
One saving grace is that their service is very good. The lady working at the dining area is very polite.
But unfortunately we don’t find great value dining here vs the price they are charging.

March 18, 2026 at 4:21 pmService: service was warm when we stepped in.
Food: We ordered the aglio olio and Hawaiian pizza and a cafe latter. The aglio olio was extremely spicy. Please be warned. We needed water to neutralise the spiciness but was told that we needed to pay for water. We gave up finishing the aglio olio. Hawaiian pizza had nice cheese and crust but prolly slightly small for the price. Coffee was 3/5 in my opinion.
The food is also pretty expensive for what the quality is and also location. See attached menu prices.

March 18, 2026 at 4:21 pmWe had a big group of 28 people having dinner and I must say that the owners, Barry and Carmen were well prepared. They maintained the food quality and served us professionally with smiles throughout the dinner. Most of our friends love their main courses, sides and the ice-cream too. It is a cozy place for all of us to dine, chill and chat. This place is walking distance from MRT station, bus-stop and multi-storey carpark is just across the road. The price is reasonable as the food portion is huge. We also ordered many sides, drinks and desserts as we had a big group. Overall, we had a wonderful dinner in this cafe! Thank you Barry and Carmen! 😃

March 18, 2026 at 4:21 pmI love the place, with most of my favourite dishes in their menu.. tomyum pasta, lamb in brandy and today I ordered the Duck confit (crispy outside, tender meat inside) not easy to find this French dish nowadays. They also have Coffee ice cube served with milk and special day for Wintermelon dessert…. my first time trying .. love it. Thank you the boss for serving us. A must go family operated restaurant.
