March 18, 2026 at 4:18 pmWe celebrated the start of our honeymoon at Summer Pavilion, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional.
We began with dim sum, and the crispy lobster vermicelli rolls stood out as a highlight—so crunchy and flavorful! Our timing was perfect as we visited during Chinese New Year, which allowed us to enjoy the refreshing salmon Yu Sheng, accompanied by auspicious blessings.
The rest of the menu exceeded our expectations as well. The Poached Rice with Lobster was rich in umami with a delightful soup base, while the geoduck with Japanese asparagus and radish was fresh and sweet. Our absolute favorite was the smoked duck, featuring perfectly cooked meat and crispy skin that elevated our dining experience with its wonderful smokiness.
Dunstan and Chun Wei provided attentive service throughout our meal, making us feel truly special. As a delightful surprise, Chef Cheung presented us with a beautifully arranged dessert platter, personalized with “Happy Honeymoon”—a thoughtful touch we will cherish.
Overall, we highly recommend Summer Pavilion with a rating of 12 out of 10! One extra point for the exceptional food and another for the amazing staff. We are truly grateful for this experience and can’t wait to return on our next visit to Singapore.
Thank you, Chef Cheung, Dunstan, and Chun Wei!

March 18, 2026 at 4:18 pmSummer Pavilion is a beautiful Cantonese restaurant inside Ritz-Carlton Singapore.
The restaurant design is elegant and peaceful. Surrounded by garden view so atmosphere feels very relaxing.
Dim sum and seafood dishes were excellent. Ingredients were very fresh and cooking technique very refined.
Service was also very attentive but not intrusive.
This restaurant feels very classic luxury Cantonese dining experience.
静かで上品なお店。
Very good option for business lunch or special dinner.

March 18, 2026 at 4:18 pmSummer Pavilion offers a quietly luxurious backdrop for reunions and celebratory gatherings ✨
The cuisine is refined and impeccably clean, allowing the purity and depth of each ingredient to take centre stage.
Flavours are restrained yet confident, a testament to disciplined Cantonese craftsmanship.
The dining room exudes understated elegance, composed and timeless rather than ostentatious.
Tableware is exquisitely appointed, lending a sense of polish and ceremony to every course.
Service is intuitively attentive, even recalling our tea preference despite cups being casually swapped.

March 18, 2026 at 4:18 pmBoth of us opted for Orchid’s set menu, which featured a selection of dim sums, double-boiled Cantonese soup, and Canadian lobster meat noodles. The dumplings with black vinegar, lobster meat noodles, and the soup were delicious. We also ordered an interesting addition to the menu: a BBQ pork bun with a savoury flavour. For dessert, we enjoyed a refreshing bowl of aloe vera, kiwi, strawberry, and lime juice. The lychee tea was surprisingly pleasant. Overall, it was a delightful meal.

March 18, 2026 at 4:18 pmDined at Summer Pavilion this evening for a lunar new year reunion and had a very enjoyable experience.
The food was well executed and lived up to expectations, with the abalone and lobster meat being the most notable dishes of the night-fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared.
Service was equally impressive. Ping Jie and Lisa took excellent care of us throughout the dinner and was attentive, professional, and warm without being intrusive. His service truly elevated the overall experience.
Overall, a lovely dining experience and one I would happily recommend for a special occasion or refined Cantonese meal. Our bill was $5.1K++ and we sat in the ELM private room.
