This was a deeply distressing and disappointing experience during a critical period of care for our dog, who was suffering from end-stage illness.

On the second day of treatment, the plan communicated to us was for continued monitoring and intravenous fluid therapy. Based on this plan, we entrusted our dog to the clinic. However, the agreed treatment was not carried out, and we were not informed in a timely manner, despite the material consequences this would have for a critically ill patient.

Our dog was already at the clinic by around 11.30am, yet this was recorded differently. We were informed onsite that IV fluids were not administered due to issues with the IV catheter, and we were only informed close to 4.00pm, upon which we immediately went to pick her up. However, original sources and documentation indicate that the catheter issue arose much earlier, making the delayed notification particularly concerning.

Following our complaint that we had been charged for items not used, the clinic revised the invoices. As this did not address the underlying concerns regarding communication, transparency, and accountability, we subsequently wrote to seek a waiver of the day’s charges due to the treatment plan not being adhered to and the unsatisfactory standard of care. In response, the clinic provided a different account of events from what had previously been communicated in order to defend the charges, which was deeply troubling.

Our dog passed away shortly after. While we chose not to prolong a dispute over costs, the failure to follow an agreed treatment plan without prompt disclosure, combined with shifting explanations when concerns were raised, is unacceptable. Pet owners deserve honest communication and proper care, especially when their animals are critically ill.

Would like to share my thanks and appreciation to Dr Magdalene Siva for your part in saving Mochi. Thank you for your prompt referral to advanced vet care and for your firm push to bring her for further testing after her initial blood work at spring vet showed some abnormalities. She was diagnosed with a ruptured tumour that caused her to bleed out internally. Mochi has since underwent emergency surgery on that Saturday itself and is en route to a full recovery. Dr Nam at advanced mentioned that she would be with us today if I had not brought her in that Saturday itself. Thank you for your steadfastness and for giving my family more years with Mochi. We were very fortunate to have consulted with you.

I will never visit Spring Vet at Hougang and Punggol. Worst animal clinic I have visited. At the Hougang branch, the vet mentioned that machine was faulty so there was one accurate result and yet charged me full rate for the blood test.

Dr Ashwinie from Punggol branch was bad as well……

I’ve been bringing my cat her for about 4 years now but mostly minor issues & nothing severe. The vets are quite patience & answer your questions. They recently added an online site to book appointments but I wasn’t able to find an open slot for any of the vets for a week out. Their line was busy so I ended up going to the clinic & they were able to find a slot immediately that same day.

      Very professional and moderately price

We went to the Punggol Clinic.

Dr Rachel displayed unparalleled passion, zeal and professionalism in being very instrumental and great genuine love for animals and her profession help perform a delicate operation on our rabbit.

And also coached us to nurse her back to health.

Our rabbit which was very sick was nursed back to health.

Dr Rachel and her team does everything with great passion

I’m really impressed and would highly recommend their services
