I really want to commend the team here at this newly opened Putien at Parkway Parade.

Right from the start, while we were queueing for the crappy store beside, the staff outside were friendly and engaging, asking customers to give them a try, next time if not now. Having had a poor experience while queuing for the other store we decided to give this Putien a try.

Upon entering we were warmly greeted by the team. The manager Jimmy took the time to share their ongoing specials and was friendly and approachable. The other staff were also very friendly and attentive. It is apparent that this is a team that is professional and genuinely enjoys and takes pride in their work.

I was never a fan of Putien but the food was surprisingly good. They added a few items to the menu and they were to our liking. The hotplate tofu, bee hoon, and garlic chicken was nice. So glad we gave this place a try. We will definitely be back!

Must order their standard dishes. Generally satisfied with the orders. The med size noodles portion is a lot for 5 pax. The garlic grilled chicken is a disappointment because the chickens was so dry. The sweet and sour pork chops were the favourite for the kids. The salted egg vegetables were good too. Soft and flavorful. The fried oysters were delicious! Crispy egg and the oysters still soft inside.

Probably needs no introduction. Great good great service. Good consistency here at parkway which seems to have lesser crowd for some reasons. I’m not complaining though! Love the bee hoon, fried fish, yam and the braised Tao pok.
