March 18, 2026 at 3:50 pmFinally visit this Japanese-inspired cafe at Novena. Cute and cozy cafe~
💎Salmon Ochazuke ($24.90) – I’ve been seeing this for soo long and it actually hits! Comforting, well-cooked salmon and very satisfying dish.
💎PB & Otter Dutch Pancake ($19.90) – slightly sweet pancake with cheese and prosciutto topping… surprisingly works so well!
💎Bacon Mentaiko Udon ($17.90) – creamy, chewy, not overwhelming.
💎Pineapple Americano ($7.50) – refreshing coffee is always a
YES for me:)
💎Original Matcha ($7.50) – friend approved

March 18, 2026 at 3:50 pmPersonally I’d say that their dessert and their service is the best thing about this place.
Otter and Pebbles is a nice cosy cafe located at the Novena specialist centre, facing the road. It’s relatively close to the mrt and has many parking options.
Was recommended this place by a friend and we tried quite a number of items, including a creamy tomato udon, jap curry rice and tamago sandwiches. However what stood out the most to us was ultimately their pancakes (or souffle?). Each pancake was soft and creamy on the inside, melts in your mouth and goes perfectly well with the gelato ice cream.
The cafe itself is relatively small, and gets quite crowded at peak hours. Reservations are highly recommended. Given its small size, seating space is somewhat cramped as well. The decor is modern and sleek, giving a soft, cozy feel while dining.
Their staff is attentive and regularly assisted us with our requests. Overall a good dining experience, 8/10. 👍

March 18, 2026 at 3:50 pmA warm and cozy restaurant located right next to Novena Square. The restaurant isn’t very big, but it offers plenty of seating options, including outdoor seats, indoor seating, and even some private areas for those who want a more quiet and private conversation.
The menu includes various of choice from main courses to desserts and beverages. The food is well prepared, flavorful, and healthy—not too oily and not overloaded with MSG. I ordered the Soy Milk Salmon Ramen, which was very creamy. The pan-fried salmon was cooked just right, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The butter slowly melted into the soup, and the combination of the soy milk base with the buttery aroma was absolutely amazing.
Each table is also served with a big bottle of water, which is a huge plus since not many restaurants in Singapore still offer free water.
The staff are friendly and well trained.
Highly recommend you try and I will definitely come back for more food and dessert!

March 18, 2026 at 3:50 pmDining with otters is one of the best brunch experiences in Singapore! The atmosphere is very chilling, very suitable for weekend gatherings with family or friends. The staff are nice and helpful. Besides, the food portion is big, couldn’t even finish 2 mains with the dessert for 2 persons. Very recommend!

March 18, 2026 at 3:50 pmVisited Otter & Pebbles recently and really enjoyed the experience. The café has a cosy, relaxed vibe — perfect for a slow meal.
We ordered the salmon ochazuke, kani kinshoku udon and the Earl Cloud fluffy pancakes. The ochazuke was comforting and light, while the udon had great texture and flavour. The fluffy pancakes were definitely the highlight — soft, airy and not overly sweet. Paired them with a matcha and their tiramisu coffee, both of which were well-balanced and complemented the food nicely.
Overall, good food, good drinks and a comfortable atmosphere. Would come back again.
