March 17, 2026 at 7:18 pmThe vet and helpers are nice, friendly. Our dog took vacation there and the vet, Nelson has checked our dog’s body carefully. The price is a bit expensive but still acceptable.
My dog felt anxious before vaccination. The vaccination process was smooth, just my dog was reluctant to get close to this place afterwards đ

March 17, 2026 at 7:18 pmA Heartfelt Thank You to the Mount Pleasant Animal Clinic (East) (MP East) Team
Dear Dr Sarah, Dr Putri Lin (Putri), Dr Ng, Dr Loi, Dr Goh and the wonderful team:
All my 5 precious cats â Sumin, Kitty, Georgie, Orange, and Happy â have grown to trust Mount Pleasant Animal Clinic (East) as their second home.
Happy may be part of our family, but to Happy, we are her entire world. Through Happy and my other 4 cats, we have cultivated lasting friendship (2008-2025) and built confidence and trust with the dedicated team at MP East.
Mount Pleasant East Animal Clinic will always be my choice because of the wonderful people who serve and care for my furry companions with their whole heart and soul.
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Dr Sarah, Dr Putri, Dr Ng, Dr Loi, Dr Goh and the wonderful team!
Forever grateful

March 17, 2026 at 7:18 pmLast week, my cat had an eye examination. We showed photos to explain her condition, but the vet didnât give any useful advice or run any tests. They just told us to turn off the lights and shine a flashlight into her eyes. Then, without informing us first, they put a small eye test strip into her eye. After that, they said everything was fine.
The whole process took less than 5 minutes, yet they charged me 120 SGD!
I was totally shocked. How can they make money so easily? đ«š
They also recommended an overpriced spaying/neutering package that costs 440 SGD.
Today, a friend recommended another vet clinic to me, and I finally realized how much of a rip-off this place is. Pet owners living nearby, donât go there! đĄ

March 17, 2026 at 7:18 pmThis clinic appears far more focused on profit than the well-being of the animals. The consultation always felt rushed and dismissive, with minimal checks done before being told everything was âfine.â There was little compassion or urgency shown, especially when concerns were clearly raised. No accountability no responsibility was taken. When it comes to our pets, we expect care, empathy, and responsibility. Unfortunately, that was lacking here. I would urge other pet owners to think carefully before bringing their dogs to this clinic.

March 17, 2026 at 7:18 pmIt was the rude and heartless attitude of the receptionistâespecially after our beloved dog passed away just one day after visiting this clinicâthat finally pushed me to write this review so others are aware.
Our dog had been going to this clinic regularly for routine checkups. We were told she had elevated liver enzymes and was put on daily IV drips for two weeks, followed by three times a week for several months. While the liver enzyme levels improved slightly, they remained high. She was also prescribed a liver tonic that cost us about $125 per month, which we paid for nearly a year.
Thursday morning, she wasnât behaving normally, but was still moving around the house actively. When we brought her in, a different vet examined her and suddenly discovered a massive liver tumor measuring 11 cm x 8 cm – in a small Maltese! I cannot understand how something of that size was not detected earlier during all the follow-up visits. The earlier the detection, the higher the survival rate.
After that visit, our dog became extremely weak. The clinic mentioned a âreferral,â to hospital which never actually happened, so we rushed her to an emergency hospital ourselves in the evening. She was admitted to the ICU immediately, but sadly, she passed away within 24 hours on Friday.
I still cannot accept this loss. We were given no proper explanation from the vetâonly a rude and dismissive response from the receptionist, which made an already devastating situation even worse.
Please think carefully before bringing your pet here. In our experience, there was a lack of responsibility, compassion, and genuine care. It felt as though profit and money mattered more than the well-being of the animals entrusted to them.
