March 18, 2026 at 4:14 pmThis café along East Coast Road has a clean and modern Japandi-style design with warm wooden details. The place feels calm and welcoming.
The staff are polite, well dressed, and very professional. They take orders patiently and speak clearly, which gives a good first impression.
We ordered pasta, a vegan burger, and Eggs Benedict. All the dishes were tasty and well seasoned, especially the vegan burger. The vintage map of old Singapore on the wall was a nice and interesting touch.
Overall, it’s a great place with good food, good service, and a comfortable atmosphere—perfect for a relaxed family meal.

March 18, 2026 at 4:14 pmHad such a lovely dinner experience — great food, good ambience, and a team that truly made us feel welcome. Special thanks to Nicole for her attentive service, thoughtful recommendations, patience and genuine warmth throughout the evening. Her suggestions were fantastic and that made the dinner experience wonderful.
Definitely a place I would return to again for both the food and the wonderful hospitality!

March 18, 2026 at 4:14 pmIt’s a cosy place with a comfortable atmosphere. The service staff, Nicole, was friendly and took the initiative to recommend dishes to us. We ordered a variety of dishes to share and try. Portions were generally quite small. The food was average overall. The bill for six of us came to around $240.

March 18, 2026 at 4:14 pmMerci Marcel at East Coast offered a very enjoyable lunch experience with subtle fusion French cuisine that felt both clean and satisfying. I had the Angus beef rib eye served with baked fries and rocket, with a side of mushroom sauce. The beef was tender and the fries were flavourful. The minimal sauce allowed the natural taste of the ingredients to shine, similar to the classic French steak and fries style where the quality of the meat is the focus.
For dessert I had Marcel’s croissant waffle, known as a croffle, drizzled with banana sauce and topped with chunks of sweet banana and vanilla ice cream. The dessert was light, refreshing and paired beautifully with the lunch since the main course was not heavy.
The restaurant was crowded during New Year’s Day lunch without a reservation, which speaks to its popularity. The waiting staff were pleasant and helpful, and I enjoyed my window table facing people walking past on East Coast Road. I also appreciated that ice water was served free of charge, which is not always the case at other places.
Overall I very much liked the food and service here and would give a four star rating. I look forward to visiting again and hope to be surprised by something that earns the final star. I have attached my receipt to show the total cost paid for this meal.

March 18, 2026 at 4:14 pmWe had :
Caesar salad- fresh & tender chicken, dressing was delicious.
Barramundi -excellent, well seasoned, crispy skin, slow roasted capsicum accompaniment goes so well with it.
Angus ribeye was so so, wasn’t seasoned well & was undercooked. Needed a harder sear. Won’t recommend this dish.
Good coffee.
Outstanding attentive warm service from stunning service staff Nicole. Gracious, witty & charming!!
