March 18, 2026 at 4:23 pmWe ordered La Saigon Café’s Christmas set meal for takeaway, and it was absolutely delicious. The portions were very generous, and every dish was well-prepared and full of flavour. What truly stood out was the service — the team went above and beyond their usual standards to ensure the food was packed and delivered safely, which I greatly appreciated. Thank you for the excellent food and thoughtful service. Highly recommended.

March 18, 2026 at 4:23 pmDelicious food. Very flavorful pho. Beautifully decorated place and good friendly service. Food portions are small so not really good value for money and though so inviting, the tables are packed so tightly together that there’s no privacy or worse, you are forced to listen to very loud neighbor. Nothing the restaurant can do about this though.
POST RESTAURANT REPLY EDIT:
They were gracious in acknowledging the compromises they have to strike. Full respect. Much love. Keep grinding.

March 18, 2026 at 4:23 pmHighly recommend their Buttery Caramel Toast! It was the highlight of our meal, really buttery and not sickeningly sweet. I’d return for this, and maybe try their coffee next time.
My companions and I had Fluffy Egg Banh Mi, Vietnamese Tasting Duo 1 (Petite Signature Chicken Pho & Petite Chicken Banh Mi), and Buttery Caramel Toast. We were all agree that the caramel toast was the star of our meal. The fluffy egg banh mi failed to impress my companion as the pickled veggies overpowered the egg. The chicken banh mi was nothing special to me, though the cassava chips that came with it were pretty good, it tasted like ‘Kusuka’ brand cassava chips. I quite enjoyed the chicken pho because of its smooth and silky rice noodles and tasty chicken broth. I also like that the restaurant offer this Vietnamese tasting duo menu that consist of one small portion banh mi and one small portion pho, it’s perfect for me who can’t decide which one to get.
Food presentation was nice and pretty. Restaurant ambience is welcoming. But waiting time for the food was pretty long even though there’s only one or two other table apart from ours. The caramel toast came first, then followed by fluffy egg banh mi shortly after, but the two tasting duo we ordered came after quite a long wait, something to consider if you’re tight on time.

March 18, 2026 at 4:23 pmLa Saigon Cafe is a cozy restaurant with a modern take on Vietnamese cuisine. We got the taster duo with beef pho and bahn mi, and the beef dry noodles. They use sourdough for their bahn mi- which I was personally not a huge fan of but it was an interesting choice. The pho broth was fragrant. The portion sizes were good, they did not skimp out on the beef. There is aircon and wifi. There is also a student meal for just $10.50 where you get a petite pho or bahn mi and a smoothie.
Disclaimer: They do give you a free coffee if you write a review but I think they deserve a 4-5 star anyways.

March 18, 2026 at 4:23 pmVery tasty vietnamese food. We always order the set which comes with a small bowl of beef pho and half portion banh mi (options of chicken, pork, beef & veg). Broth of the pho is flavourful. My favourite fillings for the banh mi is crispy pork. Bread is very crispy. Yum!! Cafe is unfortunately quite small and may have to wait during weekends. Friendly staff, good service, cozy ambiance for indoor seating. We took the table outdoor last weekend as cafe was full and it was quite hot to sit out (no fan provided).
