      Had our reunion dinner here.
      Food was not very good.
Sharks fin soup had no flavour and the sharks fin was very hard.
The duck did not come with plum sauce at the side.
Prawns were big and flavourful though.
The lobster noodles, lobster meat was nearly non existent. So tiny. Not worth the effort to dig.
      Fish was fresh.
Service staff for our table was attentive and helpful. But other servers did not have the sense to not squeeze through our table because they carried large dishes and were above guests’ head, would be disastrous if they skilled got food into guests. They made the tables so cramped and caused such hazardous situation.
The napkins were not even cloth but paper instead, that tears easily.
Did not provide carpark coupon this year also (they did last year).
Expensive menu yet everything feels cheapskate.

I think my photos don’t do justice to the food. Found this restaurant through Chope and Google and decided to bring my mom for a birthday lunch. The atmosphere was cozy and warm, the servers were very attentive to our needs. Best is the shou bao and how they presented it. My mom loved the food and the presentation. The peking duck was seasoned really well , crispy skin and tender meat. A really enjoyable place for a first time visit. Thank you for the hospitality and service.

Had a wonderful lunch today because the food was good and 10 out 10 service from our server Nick. He made our lunch extra nice and special. Thank you so much Nick. U deserve a good rating! I feel your passion in your work. Well done for providing exceptional service at such young age.

This is a low profile and unassuming Chinese restaurant located inside Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel. They serve a competent version of Peking duck that’s as good as most other Chinese restaurants. The scallops with Japanese mountain yam was alright, although I felt the dish was rather gimmicky. The ocean gem’s vermicelli was above average, featuring a sweet and light broth.

The steamed soon hock fish was perfectly steamed, fresh, hot and tender with a light delicious steaming sauce. The coconut dessert was one of better ones we had and was a great way to end our meal. Worth giving this restaurant a try.

Had quite a good lunch here, and service was attentive.

Started with a trio of dim sum, including siew mai, a green harkow and a glutinous rice dumpling with truffle. I thought they were just okay, but the wife liked the truffle one.

This was followed by the daily special soup, which turned out to be pork ribs with lotus roots – we both felt this dish was bland and needed some salt/sweetness.

We both liked the sweet and sour pork balls, which were crispy, tangy and full of flavour – it would have been nice to have some white rice to go with that. What we got was pao fan with prawns, which was nice and had a nice, rich broth.

Dessert was chilled lemon grass jelly with a small poached pear and lemon/lime sorbet. The set came with a free coke, but we opted for Chinese tea at $5 per person.

      The decor was nice.
