March 18, 2026 at 4:20 pmI’ve popped by a few times just for coffee—one of the better cups in the area—but somehow never really thought of them as a breakfast or brunch spot.
That changed when I was craving kaya toast but wanted something different from the usual local fare. A quick search led to their kaya Yorkshire pudding—and it exceeded expectations.
It had a light, delicate crisp on the outside—airy and golden, with enough structure to hold everything together. Inside, it was soft, slightly chewy, almost custardy, with that lovely toasted batter aroma.
The kaya was beautifully balanced—soft, rounded sweetness, creamy and eggy, with a gentle caramel note that lingers. A really nice East-meets-West twist.
You can choose between onsen or scrambled eggs. I went with the onsen—served cold, lightly coated in dashi for savouriness and generously topped with sesame seeds and seaweed. Definitely a different (and enjoyable) experience.
As for the coffee—no introduction needed. They’re serious about their beans, and it shows. Always hits the spot.

March 18, 2026 at 4:20 pmThis cafe serves only Coffee Beans from Myanmar, and since I never really had it before, I tried filtered coffee and White.
Surprisingly, the Filter Coffee I had (with Wa Lee Village Fully Washed) is really balanced, it’s clean, low acidity, round body, with the notes of cherry, flower and fig. It has a powerful sweetness in it, and finished with strong fig-ish/caramel-ish/honey-ish texture, that sweetness stay for quite a while.
As for the White, I picked their Honey Anaerobic Natural Beans. I’m going for that funky experience, and I get what I asked for. The white has intense notes of tropical fruit, Mango, Cream Cheese & Coconut. Same with the filter washed, this bean is also tastes really sweet, almost like palm sugar in the end. It’s both bold and sweet.

March 18, 2026 at 4:20 pmLovely little coffee, staff were so friendly. A warm welcome on arrival and the barrista was really helpful at suggesting the best option for my coffee. I ended up getting a balanced flat white in the cutest blue mug and it genuinely made my morning. So glad I decided to call in here on my last morning in the area.

March 18, 2026 at 4:20 pmBest Sticky Pecan Cinnamon Bun I have ever had, the sweet buttery pecans in it are to die for! Tried their yorkshire pudding as well, fluffy and eggy, tried both with dashi onsen eggs and scrambled eggs (+$1), but the dashi onsen eggs were the absolute winner, savory and flavorful, and the seaweed made it perfect. Personally I’m not really a fan of yorkshire pudding, but I’d definitely come back here for the sticky pecan cinnamon bun. It’s highly recommended!

March 18, 2026 at 4:20 pmI have tried the pastries , the onsen egg Yorkshire pudding and the roast beef the last time I was here on a weekend. Generally good pastries ( loved my croissant and the pickles leaf butter). Onsen egg was different and I enjoyed it. Roast beef was also decent . Coffee is good . Service is always warm and friendly . Pleasant ambience. It can feel a bit tight when it is full but thats not uncommon with cafes so this is about average in terms of space. This has become a favourite
