March 17, 2026 at 7:21 pmIm incredibly thankful to Dr Ruth & her entire team for the care they gave Kylo on 3rd and 4th Feb. From the moment we stepped in, we felt genuinely supported & reassured.
As a very anxious dog mum, handing my baby over for surgery was one of the hardest things i had to do. I was worried about every little detail whether he would be scared, whether he would be in pain, whether he would feel alone. But the moment we met Dr Ruth & her team, i felt a sense of calm.
Dr Ruth was so patient and gentle. She explained everything clearly, reassured me without dismissing my worries, and treated Kylo with such genuine care. You can really feel that she loves what she does. Its not just professionalism.. it’s compassion 💕
Her team were incredibly soft and tender with him. The way they spoke to Kylo & handled him so carefully… it meant so much to me. Even the reception team was warm & reassuring during such a stressful time. Every single person made me feel supported.
I cried when i left him there, but i also knew in my heart he was in safe hands. Seeing him recover so well now is the greatest relief. Thank you for treating Kylo not just as a patient, but as someone’s baby. We are beyond grateful 💙

March 17, 2026 at 7:21 pmGreat team full of experience and love for the job. Thank you Dr Cheryl for removing Keira’s lumps back in 2022 when her cancer came back (and restitching her wound after she yanked out the sutures). Our heartfelt thanks to Dr Pauline for your expert guidance in caring for Keira as she lived out her golden years up to a ripe old age of 16. Gratitude to the front desk folks and nurses as well for always being friendly and helpful ❤️

March 17, 2026 at 7:21 pmI recently switched my 14 year old senior dog’s veterinary care to Hillside Vet, and it has been one of the best decisions I have made for him. Dr Ruth Lin came highly recommended by my sister, whose two cats see her as well. After dropping my sister and her cats off a few times, I always noticed the warmth and kindness the staff show to every pet and owner who walks in.
When my dog became unwell and I could not get an appointment with his usual vet, I was relieved to secure one with Dr Ruth. Her assessment was thorough, her consultation was reassuring, and her explanations were clear. The recommendations she made were reasonable and helped me make an informed decision on how to move forward with his care.
It has now been a month and my dog’s condition is stable. I am very grateful to Dr Ruth and the team for making me feel so supported and reassured throughout this process. What stood out even more was how relaxed my dog was during the visit. He is usually grumpy and anxious at the vet but he did not seem to mind being there at all. That says a lot, and it made me even more confident that we made the right choice.
Highly recommended, especially for senior pets who need extra gentleness and attentive care.

March 17, 2026 at 7:21 pmWe visited upon the pet shop suggestion and have been very pleased. The doctors and nurses are very dedicated and helpful. Our Morkie puppy was very calm during the full vaccination procedure.

March 17, 2026 at 7:21 pmI am extremely disappointed with my recent visit where my cat was attended to by Dr Aria.
I asked about health screening services that were advertised on the TV at reception, as the information rotated too quickly for me to note the details. Instead of providing clarification, she repeatedly asked which specific test I was referring to. As a client, I would not be expected to know the exact names of services which was precisely why I was asking.
After checking her computer, she listed several tests but offered little explanation when I asked which were commonly recommended or necessary. The responses felt dismissive and lacked the professional guidance one would expect when seeking medical advice.
When I decided not to proceed with any tests that day, her reaction suggested that my questions had been an inconvenience. This came across as unprofessional.
I was also asked to physically restrain my own pet during an injection without any explanation. While I do not mind assisting if required, I would expect trained staff to handle restraint or, at the very least, clearly explain why owner involvement was necessary.
Overall, the experience reflected poor communication and a lack of professionalism, leaving me uncomfortable with the standard of care provided
