March 18, 2026 at 3:48 pmThe fish taco is very well done! Super crunchy crust. The taco is pillowy. The mango salsa and pickled onions are refreshing.
The churros are to die for. Crunchy and fluffy inside and the chocolate sauce is gao and thick.
The other dishes that my family ate are all very good. Had praises for them.
Service is awesome too!
Nice chill place!
Kid friendly (has kids meals and also colouring paper and crayons) and we celebrated my mum’s birthday. Staff helped prep the cake!

March 18, 2026 at 3:48 pmFair mexican food in Singapore. Nice martini, I really enjoyed the hoppy donkey craft beer with my partner as well. Very refreshing. Prices very steep for the servings.
Had a generally positive experience with the food. I will note that every variation, chimichanga, loaded nacho, bowl, tasted approximately the same. As if they have a few core ingredients and sauces, and slather them on merely in a slightly different format.
To be fair, I don’t think thats an unreasonable way of doing Mexican food, especially in Singapore. I will say that there was a minute amount of pico de gallo on each of our orders though. And when I asked for more, the manager informed me that that would be an additional 3$ charge.
Fair enough, but I didn’t enjoy that. And given the minute sizes already given, am not sure I would have gotten my money’s worth. This is contrast to joints such as Gomez y Gomez which provide a free flow of such, self-serve. I think that is a very important component, and what people want, when it comes to Mexican food!
The membership system and offers, were also arcane, and offers such as ‘ladies night’ ending 7pm, seemed calculated to leave a bad taste in the mouth for the customer. Not sure thats the way I’d do a rewards and offers system, thats for sure.

March 18, 2026 at 3:48 pmI only leave reviews after dining at a place a few times — and this Mexican joint definitely deserves a shoutout! The Ancho Beef Loaded Nachos are truly loaded with generous guac and flavour in every bite 🥑. The Borracho Fish Tacos are another standout — crispy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. And if ever have room for dessert, order yourself some Churros!
I’ve noticed a few negative reviews floating around, but honestly, they don’t reflect the experience I’ve had here. Each visit has been consistently good, with delicious food and warm service.
Probably need to loosen up their bad vibes with Tequila! Haha
But big thanks to Ryan and his team -both Front and Back, for always making the dining experience enjoyable. If you’re looking for great Mexican food with friendly vibes, this spot is worth checking out! 🌯✨

March 18, 2026 at 3:48 pmThe food here is affordable, flavorful, and served with a nice local twist on Mexican classics. The fried taco was especially delicious, crispy on the outside with a satisfying crunch, while the fillings were fresh and well-seasoned.
The Beef Loaded Nachos really stood out, the beef was tender and smoky, and the cheese-to-chip ratio was just right. Everything came out hot and well-presented.
The ambiance was lively yet cozy, with a live acoustic singer adding to the laid-back vibe.

March 18, 2026 at 3:48 pmFood is generally decent, though the fish tacos I had were a tad over fried. Margaritas are nice. Service was generally laid back but attentive; QR code ordering. Ambience nice; large alfresco in the outdoor plaza is pleasant with cozy sofas, but can be stifling in Singapore humidity. Small indoor seating area has 4 tables and a bar counter.
