Cozy little café with a well-curated Korean-inspired interior looks. The space is small but thoughtfully designed! I especially love the window seats where the sunlight pours in. However, the tables at the platform can feel slighty tight , lacking of privacy or space to breathe when it’s crowded.

We ended up sitting near the entrance to work on our own stuff for about 2–3 hours. I would say it’s a good study work-friendly spot when not too crowded, and there’s WiFi available (just ask the staff).

The bakes are the real highlight. The [1] lemon bake is zesty, just the way we like it. The [2] orange chocolate cookie is thick, gooey, and perfect for sweet tooth lovers. For drinks, [3] Iced Black is just your typical bitter caffeine wake up dose. [4] Iced Hojicha Latte is more on the sweeter side, good choice for people who don’t appreciate bitter tastebuds hehe.

Observation: Mondays around 1–2:30pm seem to be peak hour. Also, it feels like a popular chill spot, especially among the Korean crowd.

Great place to hang out for good bakes and chills. Would be back again for other bakes!

A charming and thoughtfully designed café with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The madeleines were served nicely warm, light and fragrant with butter, with a delicate crumb that was both comforting and refined.

The coffee was equally enjoyable—smooth, well-balanced and clearly prepared with care. Overall, this cafe delivers a pleasant and unpretentious experience, making it a lovely spot for good coffee and well-executed bakes. A place I would happily return to.

My friend brought me here for the quiet tranquil atmosphere and it was perfect. Away from the hustle and bustle of Singapore, you can rest and get a great cup of coffee and sweet treat.

I had the lemon einspanner which was black coffee topped with a lemon olive oil drizzled cream. Perfect combination.

I had a little bit of my friend’s salted caramel cookie and it was very yummy.

The decor was really lovely and clean.

A cozy and relaxing cafe that I find myself revisiting often. They have a small menu which highlights their sourdough bread and sandwich selection and it’s delicious! Their lemon einspanner is a must have! They’re quite popular for their madeleines and it surpasses all expectations. Had their acai bowl recently it’s quickly become a favourite particularly because of their house made peanut butter. The atmosphere is pretty chill but can get quite crowded on the weekends. But they do everything they can to accommodate everyone!

had the lemon einspanner ($9) and the madeleines with the lemon curd add-on! ($7.50 + $1)

both were SO good. had my reservations initially because i don’t always love when whipped cream in coffee has a very pronounced milk taste. but!! the lemon einspanner was super tasty – the whipped cream was sweet, and the coffee did not taste acidic!! felt quite desserty, which was what i was looking for that morning!

star of the show has to be the madeleines though. have been having an intense craving for it and the madeleines here, served in a set of 3, satisfied and intensified that craving :”) they were baked to order, so they were soft and fluffy on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside! they were also pretty big madeleines! definitely add on the lemon curd because it makes the madeleines even more complex (sweet & eggy & lemony 🍋)

i find their lemon-based items REALLY good overall. im not one who usually goes for lemon products because they can be acidic, but the lemon taste here doesn’t have that biting-ness of really sour lemons and so the pastries are really pleasant! my friend and i also shared a lemon & blueberry crumble ($8), which i really enjoyed. however, my friend found her strawberry matcha quite grainy and couldn’t finish it.

would definitely recommend the coffees, madeleines, and their food looks good too!!

shop was a little hard to find, but look for the shop Eden + Elie, and buttertgt is above! would come back again hehe, excited for christmas drinks! already craving their madeleines
