      Wife and I finally got a reservation here after a long wait. We were at first skeptical about why it was so hard to get a reservation but, long story short, the experience was phenomenal.

      Service was fantastic from start to finish, as we didn’t know waht to order, we just decided for the chef’s recommendation. In reality, this was actually Tim the bartenders recommendations. From best sellers to off menu items, each dish was hit after hit. Tim has a special sense of what people like and my wife and I were pleasantly surprised throughout the courses.

      I was expecting just mountains of meat at a restaurant like this, however, the standout dish had to be the mushrooms with congee. My wife and I are still thinking about that dish and we will go back specifically for that. The other dishes were all standouts in their own right too. Chicken tail for one, is something I’d never particularly order but ot was extremely flavourful and not too heavy. All the dishes were extremely well done. The meats, when they arrived as the last course, we’re very well made. As full as I was after 9 or 10 courses, I still devoured around 200 grams of steak. That’s how good it was after all the nonstop hits.

      The wines we had were fantastic too, yhe bottle shown in my pictures was the one my wife eventually chose which was really good for a Friday afternoon.

      The tart for desert was very delicious too. So much so we got 2 slices home too.

      Prices are high for sure, especially if you want to have a proper taste of what they have to offer. It is definitely worth it though.

      Overall this is a must visit in your lifetime, go with an open mind that it’s not just meats that will be good here. Hype for a restaurant is mostly bs, but here it is truly deserved. If I could rate this place a 6 stars instead, I really would.

      Price point was high, but thats to be expected when you dine at a place that serves up amazing plates. Each bite went down without resistance whatsoever.

      Personal favorite was the Maitake Steak!

      Great food, great service, great experience.

      Absolutely worth the wait and money. Been wanting to try but never really got the chance to get a booking and somehow lucky to get one on a weekend. The experience was fantastic, great cocktails, yummy foods and friendly services. My favorites of the night are Grissini, Leek w hazelnut and truffle, Cubano pork belly, flat iron, dry aged steak and creme brulee, cooked to the perfection and taste wonderful, the only dish not so impressive is smoked quail egg and caviar, it’s indeed quite smoky but taste a bit too bland for me. I definitely will come back again.

      After living in Singapore 2.5 years, I can say this is one of my favourite restaurants. It’s always incredibly delicious, The atmosphere is special, the staff is welcoming and friendly. It’s extremely hard to get a booking, but you just need to persevere. I dined in the bar and main dining area and I actually prefer the bar. Cocktails are great and tasty too. I would definitely recommend trying this place.
      Also, their bakery do delicious pastries and coffee

      Don’t quite get the hype of this place. Grilled food, with very heavy taste. Every dish we had was way too salty. The crab was a joke, can’t taste any sweetness, instead it was soaked in butter and salt.. and the meat sticks to the shell.. the worst crab leg I have had. Other dishes were either too salty, too oily or too forgettable.. the whole meal feels like just salt and butter and charcoal.. can’t taste much of the ingredients. And it came with a pretty ridiculous bill. Totally not worth it.

      That being said their bakery is pretty good. Love the tart.
