Been training at AF Marine Parade for slightly over a year. Newly revamped, the gym now boasts a spacious functional area for their classes and is well-equipped with a good variety of machines that target all the muscles.
Gym rules do run a bit stricter; but gym members abiding by the rules and actively practising courtesy and thoughtfulness is what makes this place a pleasant environment for everyone. This allows for the gym to always be neat and clean for the next user and I enjoy this very much.
Instructors and staff here are warm, welcoming and friendly. One never has to hesitate to ask for help or advice because they’re always open to have a quick chat with you. I have engaged Joshua to be my PT for the past year, and I leave the gym happy that I’ve made some sort of progress and with some good laughs during our sessions.
The bonus is that it is located right opposite a FairPrice Finest and 2 min away from Marine Parade MRT Exit 1. Super convenient. Overall, I love working out here!
This is one of the most pleasant AF I’ve been to and I’ve been to plenty ( see my other reviews). Anyway can’t believe I took so long to post a review since I’ve been coming here so many years I assumed I’ve already reviewed 😂
3 things standout to me
1. Weights are all in their rightful place. The staff really makes it a point to do this and I love it, even though I accidentally placed one wrongly and was ‘reminded’ once.
2. It’s really clean and even the fans are regularly cleaned. No cutting corners and I’ve seen the hygienist who is huge and looks more like trainer really cleaning every nook and corner. Very commendable! The place also smell so pleasant no sweaty musky smell I can deep breathe in and out without feeling nauseous.
3. The staff look like having fun and even humourous, except when they are reminding others to rack the weights lol.
Only complaint is the locker area seem small and insufficient during peak hours. So u keep opening and closing and finding one available is like hitting the jackpot. One or 2 drawer doors also came unhinged. Suggest to change to one side open so it’s easier to see availability and also easier for members to access their items.

Anytime Fitness at Marine Parade has reopened after Xmas 2025 as an upgraded gym, upgraded in space and the quantity of equipment and machines. The gym has expanded to take over the full space of a next-door commercial unit. More gym equipment and machines have been added to the extensive range, with potentially more to be brought in as the more expansive gym floor can fit in more facilities to provide an upgraded gym experience! More equipment and machines, a more spacious layout, and with an intact spirit of community, and a supportive gym club environment 😃
Anytime Fitness Marine Parade has once again showed that they have the best gym in the East Coast Area.
Their recent renovations have definitively elevated the overall atmosphere of this gym. From undergoing expansion to introducing more machinery and sensibly optimizing the spaces within the premises, this franchise has once again exceeded expectations. Together with the staff continuously displaying friendly and welcoming vibes, you cannot get any better.
I highly recommend people to visit this gym, especially if you live within the East Coast Area. This franchise has enhanced the user experience and I look forward to seeing them thrive.
I have been a member of Anytime Fitness Marine Parade for many years, and I am consistently impressed by their commitment to excellence, having witnessed two major upgrades and full renovations in just a few short years. It is easily one of the most spacious and well-maintained outlets in Singapore💯
Also shout out to all the incredible staff; they are the friendliest team I’ve encountered and always make you feel welcome.💪
