March 18, 2026 at 4:23 pmOverall good experience. The chocolate cake called Crumbs of Curiosity was decent enough and similar to most of other chocolate cakes. The iced caramel latte coffee was nice and good for sweet tooth like me. Overall ambience was good and such a chill place to relax or to socialize in groups.

March 18, 2026 at 4:23 pmVisiting here the 1st time on last Sunday . I love the vibe here , where I can sit outside without feeling heat. Thanks to the big ceiling fan .:))
The mocha was so so, but the apple cake is nice , not so sweet . The waiter also came to ask me about that sweetness level , and that’s exactly the thing I intended to say . Definitely I will come again .

March 18, 2026 at 4:23 pmWe came at about 8pm and the place was peaceful with jazzy music in the background. Perfect ambience.
We ordered the Crumbs of Curiosity Chocolate cake, chicken-in-wonderland (grilled chicken) and Pulled porky & Bess burger.
Food was absolutely perfect, fries and wedges were fried to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. Chicken was smoky and juicy, while the pulled pork burger had a lot of meat. The cake was not overly sweet and you can tell that it is made of good quality chocolate.
Service was impeccable and the staff were very polite.
10/10 will come again. Recommended if you wish to hotdesk here as they do have multiple power plugs around.

March 18, 2026 at 4:23 pmThe Book Cafe isn’t just a place to grab a coffee; it’s an institution in Singapore’s café scene and truly lives up to its self-proclaimed title as a “second living room.” All-Day Breakfast: Their hearty brunch classics, like the Breakfast Steak & Eggs or Eggs Benedict, are fan favourites and are available long past traditional breakfast hours. The Book Cafe is a must-visit for anyone in Singapore looking for a genuine escape. It brilliantly merges the quiet inspiration of a library with the warmth of a local diner. If you can snag a prized spot on one of the comfy sofas, you’ll find yourself happily losing track of time here, whether you’re reading a book, crunching numbers, or simply enjoying a leisurely meal with friends #thebookcafe #quaint #quiet #

March 18, 2026 at 4:23 pmMy favourite cafe in Singapore. They play wonderful music, have perfect lighting design, serve good coffee and properly cooked food that’s not overpriced. Everyone is either quietly reading or having their meal. Most importantly, their service is excellent. I was blessed to be served by Avis who takes her job seriously and brings a smile to all of her customers.
