March 17, 2026 at 7:18 pmWe have always brought our dog to Pets Avenue whenever she needed medical care. The veterinarians here are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring, which always gives us great peace of mind during every visit.
Recently, our dog developed a disc herniation, and she underwent about two months of treatment at Pets Avenue. The diagnosis and treatment plan were very professional, and the rehabilitation sessions provided were extremely helpful and well-structured. Thanks to their dedicated care and expertise, our dog has now almost fully recovered, and we are truly happy and grateful!
We would especially like to thank Dr. Ryan, Corliss, Dr. Celine, and everyone at Pets Avenue for their kindness, patience, and excellent care of our dog. We highly recommend Pets Avenue to every pawrent who is looking for trustworthy and compassionate veterinary care.

March 17, 2026 at 7:18 pmOur cat had FHO surgery here and we’re really glad we chose this clinic. Dr Ryan was very patient and took the time to explain how the condition happened and why it occurs, which helped us understand what was going on and stop panicking — especially since our cat had been dealing with leg pain for over a month and we couldn’t figure out the cause even after visiting a few other clinics.
Dr Ryan and his team were professional and clearly very skilled. They gave us a clear recovery plan, so we knew what to expect and how to take care of our cat during recovery. The surgery went well, and now our cat is back to running and jumping like normal.
We’re really grateful for the care and effort they put into helping our pet, and would definitely recommend this clinic to other pet owners.

March 17, 2026 at 7:18 pmMy two cats had surgeries for a large hernia repair for my blind golden tabby cat, and a cystostomy with removal of bladder stones for my white cow-patch cat, just this week, under the very skilled hands of Dr Girisha and Dr Celine Sia respectively.
Both cats are recovering very well, and all I can say is, it’s a great veterinary team here, though they give 10 % discount for first time only for rescued cats, but for me, I use this clinic coz it’s near distance to my small cat shelter, and prices are affordable and the superb quality of care here. I’m talking about the surgical care. But even their medical care, the medical treatments are very high quality and Dr Hannah, Girisha and Dr Celine offer very effective medical treatment to my cats and my other rescuers’ cats.
The veterinarians look young, but I’ve learnt never judge a book by its cover! They’re highly experienced and skilled.

March 17, 2026 at 7:18 pm⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Highly recommended to all pet owners who want only the best care for their beloved companions.
Kimchi, my adopted domestic feline, hadn’t been eating well for 3–4 days and I was really worried. It was already around 9 PM and my usual vet was closed, so I decided to rush her to Pets Avenue Veterinary Clinic and Referrals (Telok Kurau) after seeing their stellar reviews online. From the moment I called and stepped in, the receptionist (Syaf) was incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring — she helped calm me down while quickly getting Kimchi checked in.
I was attended to by Dr Ryan, who immediately made me feel at ease. I showed him the previous blood test results from another vet, and instead of brushing through them, he took the time and effort to go through every single line with me. He carefully explained what each test meant, how to interpret the numbers, and what the values indicated about Kimchi’s health. I truly appreciated how he didn’t just diagnose — he educated me. He made sure I fully understood the results, answering all my questions in detail and never making me feel rushed.
After reviewing the old results, Dr Ryan conducted a thorough physical examination on Kimchi and recommended redoing a full blood test for updated and accurate readings. During the examination, he also noticed that Kimchi’s teeth were in poor condition, with severe tartar buildup and decay that could very likely be causing her pain and loss of appetite.
He then went the extra mile to personally extract a urine sample for testing — something I had been struggling to collect for the past two months for my previous vet. With his steady hands and experience, he managed to obtain a clean sample quickly and safely, without causing Kimchi any stress or discomfort. This allowed him to rule out potential kidney disease, which had been one of my biggest concerns.
When the blood and urine results came back, Dr Ryan patiently walked me through them once again and reassured me that Kimchi did not have kidney disease. He explained that the most accurate diagnosis comes from testing both blood and urine samples on the same day, which gives a complete and reliable picture of kidney function. That level of clarity and transparency gave me so much peace of mind after weeks of uncertainty.
However, since Kimchi’s appetite still wasn’t improving the next day, Dr Ryan advised that her dental condition could be the root cause, and I decided to proceed with a dental treatment right away. He arranged the procedure promptly and even created a group chat to keep me updated throughout, sending photos and updates during the operation. Despite the heavy rain that day, he went above and beyond — personally offering his private parking space so I could bring Kimchi in comfortably and safely.
After the dental treatment, Kimchi’s condition improved dramatically — she started eating again, looking brighter and more comfortable. I couldn’t have asked for a more caring, dedicated, and professional vet. Dr Ryan’s compassion, thoroughness, and genuine love for animals truly set him apart.
A weeks later, I noticed that Kimchi had developed an open wound on her paw, and I immediately panicked. It was late at night, but without hesitation, I rushed her once again to Pets Avenue to see Dr Ryan, knowing how attentive and caring he had been previously.
Despite the hour, Dr Ryan welcomed us with the same calm, reassuring attitude as before. He examined Kimchi gently and quickly identified the issue as a possible skin allergy that had led to self-inflicted scratching. What really stood out was his complete transparency and openness throughout the process. When I asked if I could observe, he kindly allowed me into the treatment area and explained every step of what he was doing — it’s rare for a vet to give owners that level of trust and visibility.
He carefully cleaned and disinfected Kimchi’s wound, applying a temporary treatment to reduce inflammation and prevent infection.

March 17, 2026 at 7:18 pmWe are very grateful to Dr Ryan for a fantastic TPLO surgery done on our 10yo whippet boy, Kurt. Kurt enjoyed a full recovery over 2-3mo with no scars and no more limping, thanks to the efforts and dedication of Corliss and the PAVCAR rehab team.
